      Pros

      There are some incredibly wonderful people who work here. They are the worker bees who keep DHP running; But even that isnt good enough to want to make you stay.

      Cons

      Management is oblivious to the reality of the problem that makes the attrition rate at Dean Health Plan so high. The leadership, top down is the problem. People are leaving left and right and you dont know who to trust anymore. Management and Directors are not qualified to hold the positions they have. They wouldnt be able to get their jobs in any other company and that results in a lack of understanding to root cause issues and inability to successfully implement change.

      Pros

      The people there are friendly. The ones who want to be there and do good for the greater good of the community shine through.

      Cons

      Short staffed; poor leadership; dirty; too many promises, not enough action; ER is embarrassing; patient/employee safety (or lack there of) is a big concern. There seem to be a lot of “cut backs”. No one wants to move to a higher position in fear of that job being “cut” 6 months down the road. New hospital being built, means $$ has to be cut from somewhere.
