      Pros

      Compensation average for community. We are asked to flex out often if census is low. Productivity is the goal; pt care takes second place to that. The patients are generally happy with their visits.

      Cons

      Insular, provincial, Catholic community. Little to no continuing education. For a long while there was a culture of bullying, thankfully, these people are gone. We are encouraged to use "scripting" which no one does--it's humiliating.

      Pros

      Good place to begin your nursing career. There are many nurses who have a long history of working in this company.

      Cons

      Management turnover is high. No consistencies in expectations. Pay increases not given this year, yet the company continues to spend money on rebranding their corporate logo and purchasing other hospitals.

      Pros

      Good benefits. There is a pension plan as well as 403b plan with employer matched contributions.They still pay PTO for 7 on 7 day off shifts.

      Cons

      Leadership unfair. Value to the dept. depends on who you are.
