Pros

working in such a busy environment helps you to develop and improve your personal and professional skills. You will make friends for life. Every day is different and there is a never dull moment in the airport.

Cons

Shifts can be brutal, sick or swim. Always short staffed (bad labour budgets) No communication between higher or middle management, so you never no what is going on. Rarely get a break. Struggle for hours during winter seasons. Summer you are never home! Unsociable shift patterns that destroy your personal life and sleep pattern. Not enough hours between shifts, can finish at 9pm and be back in at 3am. No rewards or appreciation for hard work. Staff parking is not free.

Horrid management May or may not get breaks Talked down to Belittled EXPECTED to cover shifts No set schedule (all retain now a days) ON YOUR FEET MOVING ALL DAY Miscomunication Conflicting directions from managers Ghetto employees, they hire anyone They dont drug test or refernce check No advancement 1 year and same spot

Through out the years I spend there I was all was working. When the slow time comes managers al ways have a job. But over worked.

Cons

They work there managers so much that after you average $12 an hour. And you'll work 12 hours plus.
