Pros

Getting tuition paid for. Ability to support your education plans and get beginning experience teaching (though this is a matter of luck of the draw).

Cons

Complete luck of the draw with professors - you will either be completely overworked by someone who abuses their power and does nothing but manage, or you will be given small supervised tasks that are boring and do nothing to enhance your career growth and could be assigned to someone completely untrained in your field.

Pros

Great part time position for UB students at the CIT Helpd esk, great staff and great salary. The hours are very flexible because of the business hours that we are open. It is also a great resume builder, I have been offered jobs after college that I would never have received if it was not for this position.

Cons

For a student assistant position in the helpdesk, nothing really.
