Pros

I would say that working here is a way to start your career. After awhile you figure out that promotions and other things they promise during your interview are not what happens. However the positive is you get to make your own schedule

Cons

This company has dropped the ball on the in home staff. Companies are paying their employees hazard pay and this company is not doing so. Even a week's extra vacation for literally putting your life on the line to meet in home. They say they have certain policies for Covid but there is constant pressure to meet hours and they can say it is DHS it is really just Nystrom policy. Very production based and honestly managers are not friendly and the local Office manager is just a train wreck, I didn't even bother saying hi towards the end. I moved on due to the change in the work environment that happened since the other investor came aboard not the same company anymore.

Pros

Management and support staff are amazing. I have worked at three different offices and have always had a great experience. You can have a flexible schedule and get to chose which clients you want to see. They offer free training from well known experts including free EMDR training through EMDRIA approved instructors and also pay for any and all supervision you receive within Nystrom. Since COVID started they have done anything and everything they can in order for us to continue to provide the best possible care to our clients. I came to Nystrom out of private practice and wasn't sure what I was getting into but have continued to be impressed with the amount of support I have received since starting.

Cons

The only complaint I have is the pay and no vacation time. Pay is typically 50/50 split and most places are 60/40. With the amount of support and resources provided I have been able to justify the lower pay.

Pros

I enjoyed researching denied claims, working with other departments, and helping customer's.

Cons

They had you doing the job of 3 people. You had to reach unreachable deadlines. Working unpaid overtime to try and reach the deadlines were fairly common.

Hello, thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you would recommend working in our Business Office and thank you for your service. We are confused about your comment related to working "unpaid overtime." We always compensate our employees for working overtime so I would like to hear from you about that a bit more if you'd be willing to share that with us. Please feel free to reach out anytime. Thank you.
