Pros

Used to be a good place to work..Co-workers liked their job. Not the same place now. Used to be team work.

Cons

Backstabbing a regular occurrence...a great deal of lying goes on ....deplorable behavior from co-workers that think its ok to yell and scream at fellow co-workers and have no repercussions. knowing your job and having experience not important just be political and lie about your behavior to HR and it is all good for you...just say sorry after your behavior. Poke fun at the DRS....the ones you work for....that seems to be the environment . Not a professional place to work. Negative behaviors all around. No team work.

Pros

They claim to be a Catholic Mission-driven hospital. Before you jump to a conclusion, please see the Cons section below. They have plenty of job openings.

Cons

Where do I begin? First the culture of safety is dangerously low. They conduct (rather their parent company Trinity conducts) an annual culture of safety survey. They did poorly last year and rumor (highly qualified) says they really, really sunk to a new level this year. This is purely a sign of BAD leadership. I can assure you that the executive suite is full of poor leaders. Since I am clinical, I can say with certainty that the CNO is one of the poorest leaders I've known. I went to him to talk about all the patient falls we are having and he just blew me off and threatened me with discipline if I talked about it .... well try to get me! I will be leaving soon anyway.
