Strong Legacy Team Undermined by a Chaotic Saks Global Transition

Kind leadership that is very willing to listen and support where they can. All of my legacy NMG team members were fantastic, and the organization was better off before the merger. This was a marriage that should have never happened IMO.

Cons

Very messy transition from Neiman Marcus to Saks Global. I was forced out of my role and onto another team to support the transition from NMG to Saks Global. Along with this, I was given a future termination date and was ultimately laid off from my job. Also, due to the nature of the transition, career progression was extremely difficult. I was often given a lot of false hope about the "opportunities" that were to come.
