Salem hospital has a horrible turn over rate! If you don't get in with the cliches your more than likely to get fired. They will look for anything reason they can to fire someone. If they don't like you you will not last. If your really great at sucking up and being best friends with the in crowd this would be a great place for you to work! If you like to just go to work and put all your effort into just doing your job I don't suggest working here! The only place you might make it is in creek side dining. There is not much room to move up unless you have a degree I know someone who worked in the same a area for 18 years was one of the best employees they had but they wouldn't even consider her for a supervisor position they brought in a young person who had never worked there before. They told her she had no management experience and she asked how she was supposed to get any if they didn't let her.

The leadership (from the CEO down) shove their progressive ideologies down your throat until you can't breathe. Nothing ever really improves; it's really just one, big, long, exhausting smoke and mirror show to have mid to lower management level people having their teams do busy work under the guise of "problems are golden - lets solve them together", while the executives (which there are many) just make knee-jerk decisions about the direction of the organization. It's incredibly loud in their self-righteous echo chamber. The CEO, a career nurse, needs to step aside and hand the reigns to a competent business executive. The politics in that place rival our broken congress.
