Downhill since Schreiber bought company in 2011(formerly Dean Foods).
Pros
Salary and benefits are great. Most employees were a joy to work with(excluding management/supervisors).
Cons
Long hours, consistent mandatory over-time, not family-oriented at all, do not take into consideration employees ideas/suggestions, favoritism (kiss-butt and you are in management's favor), if you are vocal and not afraid to speak out(which should be everyone) you are labeled a trouble maker, implementing new, ridiculous disciplinary actions for the littlest infractions, seems to be trying to get rid of senior employees--those with 15+ years service. Making it harder on those who are left at 8-hours because eventually they want the whole plant to go to 12-hours. Some employees are immature and over-dramatic and supervisors do nothing to curb those employees behavior. A majority of the production supervisors (especially the 2 on first shift) are lazy and so they will leave a department short-handed instead of jumping in and helping. More employees would leave if they weren't the main income and/or insurance carrier in their families. Schreiber Foods know this and that is why they sit back on their heels and do nothing about the deteriorated moral of its employees since they took over. And some of the employees may talk bad about the company behind its back but then back down when questioned by management relying on those not afraid to speak up to say something.
