      Pros

      Great culture and people at Seagate, good benefits: 401K w/match, health care, dental, eye, life, HSA savings account, top notch facilities with fitness center & full service cafeteria.

      Cons

      For as long as I was at Seagate my entire department worried when our jobs would be eliminated and our building would be closed.

      Going downhill for employees!

      Pros

      Had decent bonuses this past review cycle.

      Cons

      Layoffs every year, expecting another sometime in next 6 months. No raise this year. Compensation is no longer as competitive with the market. Openings not being filled.

      Pros

      work/life balance is decent. colleagues are friendly.

      Cons

      Sinking ship that has no clear direction on how to grow. Over the last 4 years, company has seen around 20 VP (and above) turnover which highlights the instability and lack of coherent strategy. Leadership is very weak. Constant layoffs to keep EPS respectable when top line growth is not happening. Poor career growth, especially for those starting from school.
