      Pros

      Great working conditions personal health care, good salary, lots of bonus and incentive schemes, profit share, stock purchase plans rewards and recognitions etc

      Cons

      management were very weak and in some cases completely incompetent and frankly the fact that some of them managed to get promoted in the posotions they were in was amazing. Too many meetings and it was also hard to dismiss poorly performing employees.

      Good pay when the times are good.

      Cons

      Submisive culture. Do not speak up or else your job is on line. Senior management more worried about their own advancement than their employees. You are "in" with the group or you are "out" the door. Used of Bell curve for rating employees which is very unfair..... Up and down business.

      Pros

      Seagate is the largest manufacturer of hard discs. If you would like to be involved in developing cutting edge technology seagate is a good place to work for. One of the few companies where there is still significant investment in Research and Development areas. Best talent pool.

      Cons

      Highly stressful and competitive environment. Heavily layered. Too many management levels. No work life balance. No coordination between different organizations. Redundency at all levels. Promotion of self agendas rather than a common vision.
