Pros

I would consider the people, benefits, and community reputation as all positive attributes of the CU.

Cons

The disconnect between stated company values and reality is negative as (some) bad leadership is tolerated and, unfortunately, even rewarded.

Pros

Good 401K and sufficient (not great) PTO

Cons

Branch managers micromanage employees. They sit and watch the security cameras & send screen shots via chat if you aren’t working constantly. ABM would say inappropriate sexual comments to female staff. Management question validity of people’s mental health issues. Would get reprimanded if we opened a free checking for a member instead of a PPC w/ $9/monthly fee. Mgmt would speak to coworkers about others performance which is not appropriate. I was told multiple times that if I didn’t get more cross selling, I could find a new job. There is extreme favoritism for who gets off Saturdays more often and who gets a better schedule. They would change the schedule 2 days prior and didn’t care if you had made a prior commitment. Expected us to put a job with minimal compensation, no bonuses, and minimal raises above our families and our own health.
