Pros

Company takes excellent steps to ensure employees are trained to the levels necessary. This will include skills that may be transferrable to other career opportunities, as many support personnel are college students.

Cons

Cross departmental opportunities are not readily available for transfer or promotion. Turnover of employees who are students makes it difficult to gauge workload. You may have a few months of significantly higher work volume while new employees are trained.
