Pros

Work from home, free equipment.

Cons

Too much to list. This company is in the business of managing business liability isurance and employer medical claims and PTO but when it comes to their own employees, they are just plain horrible. I wanted allowed to append my schedule in the slightest bit to attend court ordered classes or to allow for me to find a new home after I lost my house. Even though they had a strong need for workers during the time that I requested to switch my work hours to. Just coming in 1.5 hours early tevery Friday is all I needed from them. I even offered to come back after class and work in the early evening, which is when they were most busy and they always needed people to work overtime, and always sending us emails requesting help during those hours of the day They allowed me to help them by working it as overtime, but they wouldnt allow me to adjust my schedule once a week to go to my court ordered claases, i had to use up all of my PTO for the year. Also, when my landlord abruptly sold her house and left me and my family homeless in a hotel, Sedgwick refused to allow me my earned 30 day personal leave to fnd a home. Then they tried to force me to resign and tried miserably to deny my unemployment. They made me call in every morning for a month, as if was absent, when they knew i was on leave. They are just DESPICABLE PLACE TO work. I did so much schedule adjustment and filling in for them when shirt staffed and I worked hard every day. Above and BEYOND. But they returnd no consideration when I needed them to compromise with me. I wouldn't work there again if they were the last comoany on earth. Liberally!

Awful!

Pros

Salary ok, benefits are industry standard.

Cons

Where do I begin? 77% increase in incoming claim assignments in two years, while other team members incoming assignments went down 18-29%. in same period. Having to take the PC home on vacations and being expected to work. Getting called while you were supposed to be off, being asked to do a report on your Dad's birthday; not being paid for 6 1/2 weeks while you were off on disability with no explanation of what the delay was. Extremely complicated and unworkable systems.
