Pros

Good training and management is great. Can make great money if you stay focused at work and have thick skin. I came from car sales and I make double the money with half of the work. Good benefits as well.

Cons

Customers can be awful but it's over the phone so who cares. You can have work life balance but be prepared to put your foot down occasionally, I told my manager right off the bat what was important to me.

Pros

I started with no experience. I worked HARD during training and ended training set to be a top agent. I did just that with the tools select quote provided! They provided me all equipment, as well as a hotspot and on top of that $50 monthly stipend towards my private internet bill. People who say they don’t make much, either aren’t trying hard enough or it’s not the job for them. This is not just about sales. It’s about caring. I’ve never worked for any other company that had been SO supportive. If you do good, if you are compliant with the sales you make, the company WILL stand by you no matter what. I’ve made more money than I ever imagine. While the base pay is lower, people need to realize MOST insurance jobs are mainly commission. Which is where most my income comes from, commission. My base pay isn’t even a fraction of what I bring home in commission. The base pay is more so there for peace of mind that this company will actually invest in you and they WILL pay you. People complaining about how much they’re paid don’t understand that it’s not a job that handed to you. SQ will give you endless opportunities but you have to put the work in and I mean actually try without expecting things. They pay for honestly good, quality leads.. we have our own enrollers. So when you think about it there’s no way you’d make that much as an independent agent when you factor in what you’d have to pay someone else to do what they do for you. I fully believe and support select quotes process and environment. There are so many different backgrounds and so much positive diversity here, yet one main goal. To succeed.

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

The fact that there are inbound calls. You do have the chance to sell insurance. Company gives you computer, headset, monitors, etc.

Cons

Set you up to fail immediately. The sales goals are completely unrealistic for the type of leads you are given. Because they are paying for leads, they pay you next to nothing working extremely hard. They are not "warm" leads by any means. Most people have no idea why they're even talking to you or think that life insurance costs $9 for whole life. It is extremely unrealistic to have a "one call close" with something as important and costly as whole life insurance.
