Pros

Hard working and decades group of employees, unfortunately, the amount of time put into the job is not recognized or acknowledged (definitely not a pro).

Cons

The absolute worse work/life balance I've ever experienced in a job. Workload is impossible. The computer systems is surprisingly antiquated for a company of Selective's stature. Simple adjustments and fixes could be implemented to improve efficiency but are completely overlooked and ignored, perhaps, because no one has time to review or are afraid to stand up for the employees. You simply can't expect employees to work the assigned case load and do a good job!

Pros

Management was supportive of long term career goals and educational objectives. Benefits were top notch.

Cons

Work life balance is not really there; workload is very high - expect 50+ hours a week; salary/raises are not equivalent to skills and workload and bonuses are far less than promised by recruiters.
