Pros

Pay is great. Great salary & individual bonus program for Agency Management Specialists. Ability to buy stock at a 15% discount as well.

Cons

You are definitely working for a stock carrier & one that would have to be one of the more arrogant in the industry. High turnover in management. It is your classic east coast carrier that operates in a vacuum. Outrageous expectations of the field personnel & no differentiation between states. Underwriting mgmt always looking over your shoulder & auditing files. Classic beat down job that makes employees feel trapped based on great pay/unrealistic expectations & even worse work environment.

Pros

The company has many talented and knowledgeable employees. The salary is average in the market place. Availability to work from home. Benefits package is average.

Cons

There is a problem with work / life balance. Management heavy with not enough employees for the workload. Although management acknowledges the work / life balance it doesnt appear changes are progressing.

Pros

Co-workers in the regions are excellent. Salaries and Benefits are good. Flexible work hours. Excellent technology and very good products. Home office is very good at product development.

Cons

Work loads are heavy with high pressure to produce and/or grow. Corporate culture is cut-throat with everyone out for themselves. Micro-managing and intense review of files. Long hours expected.
