Pros

Semtech is a great place to work at. I enjoy my day to day, especially collabortaing with my manager, team mates, and fellow stakeholders. It fosters a great work/life balance

Cons

My only con was the onboarding process. It was a bit haphazard and by the time I met with the HRBP for the onboarding sesssion it was at the end of my first week - just a different experience that I am used to. But no other issues

Descent pay, flexible time off, ability to work independently with little micromanagement

Cons

No vision for IoT, lack of strategic thinking, no innovation. Very much quarter to quarter, "sell what's on the shelf" mindset. Travel approvals requires an act of congress. Company does not take into account skillsets of employees, you are assigned a job and you either swim or sink, management will not coach and guide you.
