Pros

Positive thinking, optimism, focus on the main goals, excellence in execution and a lot of other good things cultivated top down to each office and followed almost religiously from the bottom up to the corner office.

Cons

Semtech HQ office in Camarillo is in excellent SoCal location. However, some foggy and humid mornings burn out only by lunch, so called June -Gloom.

Location- Lots of parking, great people with exception of upper management. Building is nice, clean and they have free coffee

Cons

No direction from middle - Sr. Management. I have been told the culture has changed in a negative way since previous CEO left.

Some good people to work with. Some good technology.

Cons

Never give salary increases; starting salary might be ok, but don't expect a raise (ever). They reward "yes" people, so management doesn't necessarily know what they are doing. They force vacation but do not lessen the work, so you end up working and using your time off. Been in meetings where sr management joked about plausible deniability; if you know something is wrong; sr management does not want to hear it. It's a very unhealthy work-life balance
