Cons

Pay - PAY SUCKS! Promotion- good luck trying to get into the 911 division Health/ dental - there goes your paycheck Location - parking sucks, mass transit leaves you with a nice walking distance if you're in the Bronx base

It's a good company to start off at as a recent grad

Pros

U can be a part time or on call employee and still be able to pick up full time hrs. Very flexible in switching shifts

Cons

The pay is not worth all the work they make u do . During orientation they pay u min wage which in nyc is $7.25 During annual review you get a 10 cent raise No night shift differential

It's a job, as well as special events.

Cons

You get horrible equipment unless you've worked there long enough, that and if you have an NE (new employee) next to your name during the first 3 months. As well as if you're friendly with those in logistics. The buses are old and barely ever work. Dispatch never really do their jobs properly so you're always trying to figure out the name of the patient and location, so you have both nurses and clients yelling at you. You also get calls up till 10mins until your out time, mind you these calls take at least an hr to do, and that's only if it's local.
