Pros

This company places great value on talent and teamwork. To be still growing strong after 32+ years is a testament to the values and culture at Sentinel.

Cons

The company has so many capabilities that it can be a bit overwhelming for new employees. Once new team members get through those first several months, they see the value - the diversified portfolio of capabilities and markets served provides opportunity.

Pros

Large company with good benefits - strength in numbers.

Cons

Due to being large company they segment employees into distinctive specific tasks/jobs - so if you want to do a variety of projects or work on a range of your skills this might not be a fit for you. Had to change departments to expand my skill set and I forced the move myself

Thank you for your feedback. I’m disappointed to learn that you didn’t feel compelled to report instances of bias or racism to our HR team during your employment. We feel strongly about having a respectful and inclusive work environment and have zero tolerance for discriminatory behavior. Had you brought your concerns to HR during your employment, we would have thoroughly investigated your information, and if found true, we would have developed corrective action, which you would have been a part of. Bias is something that every person has, and we feel strongly that the only way to remove bias is through education. We provide annual training to our leadership team so they may better understand, identify, and work to eliminate bias in our workplace. Our goal is to ensure each employee feels valued and has the opportunity to contribute from their unique perspective. We appreciate you sharing your challenges and would have preferred for you to have been part of the solution.
