There was always drama, you couldn't move up unless you kissed the managers behind and her minions. The manager was giving raises to her favorite team members just because and left the people who have been there for years at minimum wage. I made myself available and worked overtime for hours every holiday and never got recognition because I wasn't the mangers friend.

Sephora has had high turn over in the last couple months, they are sending out business reports that we are up 20% revenue from 2019 (they aren't counting 2020 since COVID) making millions and billions and there has been no incentive for employees that I've seen. My annual raise was extremely underwhelming (they say due to COVID business costs) but now the revenue is back, employees are struggling with WFH, career development, and satisfaction of job company is low. I really would love them to be more proactive about retaining and incentivizing employees that have been with them through the whole pandemic.
