The pay is not great for very difficult work. Scheduling can be varied and hectic depending on management in your particular group home.

Pros

Shalom House will provide you with a job that you can believe in. The rewards are unlike most other jobs- you are working towards helping a fellow individual succeed despite significant barriers.

Cons

It's the humanitarian jobs that are the lowest paid- they have low perceived value in society, so working here won't get you the Bentley.
