Pros

Working here is challenging and rewarding. The culture is the best I have ever worked in. The leaders really care and want nothing but the best for you. Your voice is heard and every person truly has an opportunity to have a seat at the table.

Cons

This isn't a con me, but it may be a reason that Sharpen isn't the place for everyone. You have to been willing to be flexible and wear more than one hat at times. The company very much still has start up energy which I find exciting, however if you want to walk in and have a specified list of duties and not have to think out side of the box for solutions, this isn'y the place for you.

Great group pushing through startup bumps

Pros

The people. Hands down the hardest working group I've been a part of. Autonomy to wear multiple hats if you want to own more than your job-title slice. The work is interesting with bigger goals than just "making money."

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but it's a startup. Startups have bumps that feel scary if you aren't used to being at the table and have always worked in big companies. Sometimes problems don't have answers or processes and you have to work through the solution rather than just raising your hand to point things out. As much as everyone says they want to be on the ground floor, that type of uncertainty and the "be part of the solution" mentality that comes with a startup isn't for everyone.
