Flexible hours, decent pay for the skill needed

Cons

Management a complete mess, call out policy overly complicated and highly abused, they will hire literally anyone to the point that I've watched them re-hire someone who had previously been fired and who then proceeded to continue doing the same things that got them fired in the first place, chronically understaffed to the point where at least one person will be crying from stress every Fri-Sat night, their solution to all interpersonal problems between employees and/or management is to just send one of the people to another store ...(the theme here is that they'll let anyone be a manager and thus management sucks. they really are just that desperate; people leave sheetz constantly)

Pros

Benefits for full time employees. Discounts on sheetz food and drinks. Pay is good. Provides other incentives like free t shirts or coupons.

Cons

Care more about the company than peoples lives. Don’t follow company policies. Managers will change your set schedule without asking. Managers make you feel guilty for calling out of work for medical issues. NO work/life balance. Your schedule can be changed at any second. Managers have to stay and cover shifts so you never know when you have to stay over or come in early.

Pros

Pay is higher than other gas stations. 2 weeks vacation yearly, fast paced environment, customer service industry, I don't have much else to say as a pro

Cons

Intentionally understaffed, it is how they afford to pay a little higher than other businesses. If you want to literally run for 9 or 10 hours at a clip, this is the place for you. Upper management preaches they want you to have family time, lower management doesn't care about you seeing your family. Breaks are optional if management lets you have one, even in a 9 hour shift
