Poor job structure/Grade levels. The company I was employed by was bought out by Shift4 and employees were assigned positions they had no say in. There were no "offer letters" or meetings to discuss pay. There was a pay cut they kept promising to reverse.
Little communication from Management or HR regarding pay reinstatements or raises. We tacked on more customers for less pay.
Everyone is frustrated(supervisors and management as well) and passing responsibilities back and forth because there is too much work. Even if you try to prepare yourself, send warnings or issues to management, nothing is done until it’s on fire. Some departments do the bare minimum and the others have to pick up the slack. Some departments are rushed through projects and others are left to inherit the mess.
Something always breaks. Clients I've had for years have delayed funding, missing funds, devices that break randomly or are limited to what they can do. Our clients are leaving and advising to quit this company.
The promise of stocks and nothing yet.
Getting our benefits was the worst experience. We were paying for benefits we couldnt use the first two months because we couldn’t login or access the documents we need for it. Some benefits were changed later and said " we dont have it anymore". Bait and Switch or just poor planning?
HR delivers canned responses. They say we should speak with management but then management says to speak with HR. It seems they are here to protect the company interest, not the employees. Are they trying to make us dizzy enough so we stop asking questions? Sometimes they provide documents meant for different companies within the big giant and not specific to this division.
New Hires are making more than employees that have been employed for several years. Really sad seeing that they do less work and the senior employees are waiting for the pay rate to be restored and raised
Everyone is overworked and is still paid less than other companies. The CEO can afford to go to Space but can't compensate for the extra workload?
Its hard to do anything after your job because you are exhausted.
Why does HR offer team leader positions for extra curricular activities but have not called anyone from this office to participate? This part of their huge company is ignored and treated less than. We have great ideas and want to contribute but they don’t hear us. It looks like we are on the outside watching them.
