There is zero useful communication and guidance. Whether it be from management, employees training you or co-workers. Training consists of snide remarks, following around your "trainer" blindly, silence and scoldings as if you were a child. It's clear favoritism exists because unless you're one of the "boys" then get ready to be expected to work nonstop with zero bathroom breaks, no lunch break and not ask questions. Their DEI hires are minimal and I'm sure once they hire two they call it a day and say they're an inclusive company. They're not. There is no clear way to report anything either and if you try to, like I did, you get fired. HR is a joke, their inclusion statement is a joke and their management is a joke.

Constantly changing objectives. Objectives that came from the CEO led to cutting staff and pushing tonnage over quality. Surprise surprise customers are not happy with the quality of the product. There was an opportunity to capitalize on all time highs in demand of high purity quartz during and after Covid, but that is when the CEO wanted to show shareholders that he was cutting costs by cutting people and shutting down 1 of 3 sites (plant and lab). As a result both of the remaining plants and labs had no redundancy and were ran well over capacity with skeleton crews. There is a grand inquisition to find out where the quality problems are coming from and nobody wants to draw attention to the emperor’s new clothes. Over the past few months where quality has been deemed “important” unplanned and uninformed objectives have continued to be pushed. Many of the people brought into management positions from the CEOs former stops have behaved in a way that may have been acceptable in their home countries but is borderline illegal in the US.
