Pros

Quitting was the only positive

Cons

The management is overpaid and overjobbed. Most of the higher level management is very condescending and rude.

Negative Reviews Are Accurate, Look Elsewhere

Pros

It’s really hard to think of any Pros. Their self portrayed image is a facade, pull back the curtain and you realize it’s all a bunch of BS designed to make them look good on the surface.

Cons

Sibelco is a complete mess—arrogant leadership, poor communication, and absolutely no direction. They refuse to accept input from knowledgeable employees, instead relying on overpaid consultants who have little to no understanding of the U.S. business. Their lack of respect for employees from acquired companies is glaring. The so-called “integration” is nonexistent. Employees from acquired companies feel excluded, disconnected, and undervalued. Leadership seems to view the current team as disposable—use them, then discard them once the work is done. If you value yourself, your expertise, and your career growth, look elsewhere. Sibelco does not prioritize employee well-being, aspirations, or professional development. Even when input is sought, it’s ignored, making employees feel unheard and unimportant. The company appears to be heading toward a leadership structure dominated entirely by foreign executives, further alienating U.S. employees. I read the negative reviews before joining and thought they couldn’t possibly be accurate. Unfortunately, it’s worse than described. If you’re seeking a supportive, functional organization, avoid Sibelco at all costs. This is the place for those who enjoy being part of a disingenuous, dysfunctional company that puts employees last. Advice to Future Applicants: Take the reviews seriously—your career is worth more than this.

So sad…

Pros

Great front line team members to work with. Professionals

Cons

The CEO changes out local leaders like an episode from Game of Thrones. Local leaders are just puppets. No one knows what is going on or what the direction is. Everyone is watching over their shoulders to see if they will be the next to be fired. Sad to see the wasted opportunity
