Pros

The coworkers are great people to work with.

Cons

Constant restructuring and change. No work/life balance. 2 weeks PTO upon hiring, you get another 5 days after five years. PTO doesn’t roll over and it’s very common to be unable to actually use all of your PTO. Working hours and shifts can change without warning. American management is constantly under pressure from European micromanagement that treats American employees like morons. Employees are constantly pressured by whatever idea comes into the CEOs head that week and he uses intimidation to get his way. Staff constantly feel threatened in their job and are not given ample time or resources to deliver on projects. Micromanaging executives have created a culture where the few employees left with any HPQ experience feel like they cannot fight back against poor decisions that have led to massive quality complaints and production failures. Salary is not keeping up with other employers, health benefits have been on a steady decline for years. We were told no bonuses or raises would be offered at the end of this year, despite going through one of the worst disasters that the region has ever experienced. This company does not care about its employees

Pros

Great insurance, higher than average pay, if you want to go back to school this night be a good option because you could work nightsand be able to study

Cons

The science lab is treated like second class citizens, old outdated dilapidated equipment, unrealistic expectations, awful schedule (12hr swing shift), they don't roll over PTO even if you don't get to use it (no fault of your own), high turnover rate unless you're in the "good one boy" category.
