Best culture I've ever been a part of

Pros

The culture at Signify is the best I have ever been a part of. There's always some sort of event to bring the company together such as Food Truck Fridays, college color days or chili cook-offs. Management appreciates their employees and recognizes their hard work. The new CEO, Kyle, really takes time to get to know people in the company. Whether they are an executive or a receptionist, he take the time to learn their name and get to know them.

Cons

I wish we could bring our dogs to work. :( Parking can be a little frustrating at times. There's a designated garage but if you don't get here early then you have to park at the very top and your car is like a sauna with this Texas heat when you leave. The cafe downstairs isn't terrible, but it'd be nice to have some healthier options.... maybe a free salad bar.

taped together

Pros

Very nice colleagues who genuinely care about the customers they serve and their patients.

Cons

Signify is a disaster. Signify is the perfect example of a "could have been a great thing". They have a lot of potential but fail in every way possible. A lot of people are being continuously laid off and this has been a repeated problem for more than a year. Signify in a way was taped together. Several companies were brought together to give the appearance that something grand was happening to make Signify more appealing to another company (CVS). It's an unfortunate situation for companies that were acquired by Signify. It seems like those companies operated better when they were operating as their own entity before Signify acquired them. The executive team is setting this up for a win for them but not so much for the rest of their employees. Signify could have been great but it's a business at the end of it all and that's where the focus is, and that's the problem with healthcare. Leadership at Signify needs an overhaul quickly. They're good storytellers and that's obvious if they were able to get acquired by CVS, but it's like a book that has pages that got stuck together. You don't always get the full story until you go back and peel the pages apart and realize the story isn't really what you thought it was going to be.

Pros

Flexible schedule, that's pretty much it.

Cons

LOTS of driving, no payment for patient canceled / no show appts (even if you have driven an hour each way to get there), low volume of patients at the end of the year, I have also been underpaid by this company for an incentive they ran last Nov. I would BEWARE of working for them; they have clauses in each email about how their incentives are up to the discretion of the company; they sent an email about a $500 a day minimum as long as 'provider canceled appts' are less than a certain % (implying it is based on how many appts we as providers cancel). Multiple physicians (me included) had PATIENT'S cancel (increasing our % canceled to above this amount) and the company is refusing to pay us for this minimum, saying that they 'do not care what the communication email said' and would not be paying us for these days. I would NOT recommend working for them; they do not treat providers ethically and honestly don't seem to care at all.
