Pros

- Meaningful mission. - Many capable and enjoyable coworkers for now. - Good work-life balance when teams aren't responding to management's (mostly preventable) "fire drills". - Good pay. - Okay benefits. - Okay tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Minimal transparency from Episodes of Care leadership: - withholding information from clients to maintain revenue from administrative fees - often slow-walking the release of critical data to get the "messaging" right - no explanation/acknowledgment of layoffs, undercutting employee trust in management New management killed our culture: - viewpoint diversity is discouraged overtly and implicitly by VP's and above - nepotism and group identity trump the merit of individuals/ideas - leadership spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on curriculum, guest lecturers, and made-up positions to emphasize skin-deep and sexuality-based diversity, while it lays off some of our most knowledgeable and competent employees - senior leaders make thinly-veiled comments about favoring those from marginalized communities in their hiring decisions - reactionary "fire drills" require immediate, defcon 1 responses and sleepless nights; yet the resulting deliverables rarely see the light of day - the boots on the ground must do their best to support clients and drive outcomes, despite our impulsive and detached management

Do Not Work Here!!

Pros

Overall, basically nothing positive to say about this company. And that's with working here for many months..

Cons

- I would NEVER recommend working with or for this company, my job was literally a joke, and I've never in my life worked with so many incompetent and unprofessional people nor have I ever worked in a more toxic or political environment - typical unprofessional and toxic work environment where people act like your friend and then stab you in the back; not my first rodeo with a company that has this bad of culture, but this is definitely the worst I've experienced - Below market pay, as many of the reviews mention; was also promised higher pay upon starting and then the hiring team cut my pay last minute - horribly mismanaged company, especially at the senior management level, as many other reviews mention; the entire senior management team needs fired and replaced with actual professionals - Unprofessional environment - VERY disorganized management, as numerous reviews here mention - asked to do work outside of your job description or threatened to be fired if you don't pick up the additional work - they do not give any PTO, and they discourage people taking off for even the most severe of family emergencies - frequent changes in work goals with no notice or clear understanding of why the changes are made; and almost all of these derail current works in progress (basically senior management is constantly making promises to executives that they can't deliver, nor do they have any comprehension for what those deliverables actually require, so then they blow up on other managers and employees instead for not being able or qualified to execute their unrealistic expectations) - constantly sabotaged and led astray because upper management, management, and POs are NEVER on the same page (i.e. being told to stop work on one objective by one just to be asked months later by another why it's not done yet, all of course while they're not speaking to you directly but behind your back instead) - Most of management has no idea what they're doing, no understanding of items discussed in meetings - management will tell you you're in charge of something, then take over themselves and then wonder why you're not in charge... - no work life balance - upper management is frequently disrespectful of the experience of others while ignoring their own lack of expertise/experience in an area - upper management is passive aggressive and does not speak to the actual person and instead talks to everyone else about that person - they did not offer stock options to employees for their IPO, i.e. extremely greedy and cheap - a lot of people here have come in only by recommendation of other people so there is A LOT of unprofessional, political alliances that are unfair and protect those who are doing wrong (i.e. when one does something wrong their "friend(s)" back them up and the person they're screwing over gets screwed over even more) - the IT portion of this company does virtually nothing to protect it's employees and patients information from cyber attacks, security breaches, and hacking even though it's patient and employee information is supposed to be protected by law; it's a ticking time bomb until they get attacked again

Pros

Customers are nice. Company looks good on social media.

Cons

Company is NOT a healthcare company which they tout to be. Not friendly to NPs. They absolutely don't listen to their employees. No sustainable foundation in this company.

We're sorry that you aren't having a good experience. Our leadership team recently completed ride-alongs in various locations across the country which gave the team better insight into the challenges our NP staff faces each day in the field. The team will use the takeaways from these ride-alongs to learn how to improve the experience of our remote clinical staff. Our network services team works diligently to respond to concerns in a timely manner, and will continue to look for ways to improve communication with our remote clinical staff.
