Pros

Salary and benefits are good. Field staff and clients make me stay.

Cons

The upper management puts profit above all else. They do not care that most of the staff cannot complete their job within the work day. The turn over rate must be over 60%. Then we get to train the new people, who leave. The company is so proud of their good sales people and want to grow but at the cost to the employees who provide care.

They really do care about the residents

Cons

Executive management totally out of touch with what is actually going on at the community level. No chain of command honored in the company. Corporate interference at all levels. Extreme turnover in all levels of the company. Very poor communication company-wide No work-life balance for anyone in the company. It is expected that Silverado is your life. They force you to donate money to their PAC.
