Pros

You receive training on unique equipment; CNC and Robotic Cutters. Decent pay for the industry, plus insurance and a retirement plan. There also is an opportunity to further your education.

Cons

Not all associates are offered a chance for personal growth. It all depends who is assessing you. Some office personnel feel they are above you. The expectations between the shifts are not standard and uniform.

Pros

Great work/life balance for most things. You usually know in advance when long hours are required (e.g. - month end). CEO and other executives are approachable.

Cons

Not as much opportunity for advancement in Simonton itself. Potential to advance within a sister company but that involves moving. Not as much time off as prior employment.
