Decent work environment, but management is the worst.

Pros

Pay is decent when compared to similar positions. Benefits are average... health, dental, 401k, disability. No pension though. Comfortable work environment.

Cons

Expected to work extra hours on a regular basis. Management is incompetent. Mid-level managers will throw you under the bus to save their necks.

Pros

Co-workers are easy to get a long with and are willing to put forth the time to explain things and make sure you have an understanding of concepts during training. Fast paced environment with emphasis on throughput and TPU.

Cons

Upper management really leans on the maintenance dept. to get machinery up and running even if unsafe or defective to increase production. Lack of communication between departments and end result is usually a blame game. Pay is far below industrial maintenance tech. average.
