Everyone in management is male and I was literally told (as a woman) to never speak on a meeting again, because the site head didn’t want to hear what a woman had to say. Leadership chooses lower level management as scapegoats and fires them to cover for their own poor decisions. This happened to me and everyone knew it was happening, to the point that the HR manager appealed the termination and almost got himself fired in the process. My boss cried over what happened to me. All because the site leader didn’t listen to our recommendations and feedback on what we were seeing in product testing and continued to push manufacturing, even though a faulty part led to multiple days worth of product being produced that didn’t meet specification. He chose me as the scapegoat when corporate got upset at the extent of the issue, even though there was proof that the site head had been told what was happening, repeatedly.

Management is horrible. Constant changes in management and managing styles makes it needlessly stressful. Management also has their own little cliques that made things incredibly annoying to deal with. Random favoritism and extremely overbearing but only when management feels like it. Employee “appreciation” is a complete joke, hope you like getting free meals around major holidays and a $20 gift card to a local grocery store SOMETIMES. Don’t expect to have a life outside of your job especially if you’re a good worker.
