Pros

Simplot is one the best companies I have had the opportunity to work for thus far. As an intern, they gave me multiple projects to work on, ample training in all areas, and were constantly looking for things to teach me. I was able to sit in on interviews, practice running payroll, work with other interns on cross-functional projects, send reports, and interact with employees. They even had a whole Intern Week where we got to visit all of the different Simplot branches.

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say about working there. It was the best internship that I had during college.

Cons

1950s style leadership, top down, command and control. Senior leaders are looking for followers. JR would roll over in his grave if he saw how people are treated. Happy to be gone from the company. The only people who stay are those who don't have a choice.
