Good job, terrible management. Don’t expect to have a life outside of the plant.
Pros
Great pay, relatively easy job when things are running smoothly. Mostly nice and easy to work with coworkers (this excludes most management). When you aren’t working overtime you have a nice work-life balance. You can opt-in for overtime if you aren’t working as much as you’d like (this probably won’t be an issue, but the option is there). Can pretty freely move between positions as long as there’s openings.
Cons
Management is horrible. Constant changes in management and managing styles makes it needlessly stressful. Management also has their own little cliques that made things incredibly annoying to deal with. Random favoritism and extremely overbearing but only when management feels like it. Employee “appreciation” is a complete joke, hope you like getting free meals around major holidays and a $20 gift card to a local grocery store SOMETIMES. Don’t expect to have a life outside of your job especially if you’re a good worker.
