Lack of team bonding opportunities.

Very average salary, but benefits make up for it.

Job demands are high 50+ hr work weeks are normal

The bureaucracies of the procurement department feel unfair. There are some good leaders and there are some not okay leaders. Most of the leadership in the procurement group is fairly young, and some of the leaders they choose are not what I would consider stellar. People trying to implement worthless processes or just doing something because it might look good on a presentation slide. Looks good on a slide! But does not always work when trying to implement in real life. You usually get a yearly merit increase, but it is not enough to keep up with inflation. It is discouraging to see money spent wastefully by leaders.

Lack of leadership and advancement opportunities

Leadership issues in other departments

Multiple senior IT leaders with no IT experience. Removed DEI initiatives and the HR team that led it. Resistance to follow industry best practices. Expect company loyalty above all. Lack of accountability. "Good ol' boy system". Mandate return to office 4-5 days a week. Audits badging in to track in person attendance for all employees.
