Really bad management, trust in employees is lacking, over-control of employees, little to no transparency, poor culture, archaic technology and practices. Managers completely lack technical competence, good old boy network prevails.

Very cliquish. If you're in the "in circle" life is great, but otherwise no chance of advancement. Management promotes based on some weird perception of potential but does not consider performance or results. Male and female leaders held to different standards. Women are penalized if they are perceived as "strong". aggressive (female) vs. assertive (male) . Strategy is non existent Company is losing a lot of talent and it's difficult to recruit to Boise

Pay isn't too good but annual raises do happen

Have no complaints about the job.

Working toward more diversity is a little slow; big org that's slow to change older ideas

Poorly skilled leadership, especially in the shared-services EPMO. Poor tooling, an attitude of 'one size fits all' approach, old school methodologies to modern problems and continuous failures resulting, no discernible SDLC, and unskilled leaders running technical groups. Accordingly, turnover is very high, avoid unless you want atrophy in your career.

Recently, the company has taken a terrible turn for employees resulting in huge turnover, people are leaving in large numbers, and a very toxic culture that is dismissive of employee needs is continuing to destroy, like a giant tsunami. This is a family run business, and the 3rd generation of the family don't care about their people or human dignity.

Management is terrible. They act like their employees are beneath them. Pay is okay.
