Casual, relaxed work environment. Brand new office building located in Downtown Boise with access to convenient amenities and plenty of restaurant options.

Cons

Limited career advancement paths in the Information Technology department, particularly due to recent reorganization and restructuring reducing number of available full time positions.

Pros

Privately owned by the Simplot family. Great reputation in the industry. At one time was a great environment and company to work with.

Cons

Detached (from their people and their customers) senior management who are more concerned with maintaining their position then they are with the future success of the company. They are completely out of touch. A dissenting opinion is definitely NOT welcomed; viewed as threatening to senior management. It makes me sad to see this once great company go down the road they're now going down.

Great family friendly environment. Co-workers are typically hard working, easy to get along with, and helpful. New work environment is open, warm and welcoming. A lot of different types of work spaces from living room set ups to plug and play conference room spaces both large and small. Both indoor and outdoor options. Competitive salary and benefit packages.

Cons

There are pockets of managers in areas of the company that need training on Company values and management skill training as these managers make a great Company and a great place to work difficult and stressful for needless reasons.
