Pros

Free tickets to the park? Fair benefits, splits up vacation, sick, and holiday. A lot of wonderful colleagues from all over the country.

Cons

Overworked, expect 10-12 hour days to complete work. Lack of growth/ leadership programs weak reward programs CEO is forgetting about the people that makes this business run, the people. So many people were eliminated from the company, and everyone has added more work loads in the corporate office. It doesn’t look like it’s ending anytime soon. I use to love this company, now I’m just overwhelmed everyday. If you’re wanting to take care of yourself, the corporate office is not the best place to settle into at the moment. Hopefully that’ll change. Morale is at its lowest I’ve ever seen. It’s difficult to not point at major leadership. Back and forth with policies for workers… We get told something one day, and the next it can be completely different. Everyone is walking with their tails down because they don’t want to impose and then get fired by Selim, CEO. Not an enjoyable workplace.

Pros

Meeting and making new friends. Thats all that i can think of

Cons

Too many too list. My department was a game of politics. When your with a company 5 years and see one .10 raise, have to work out in the weather not having the back of mangement. Not knowing how you did on a promotion test, having someone who has been with the company 3 months get promoted over people with years of expirence. Breaks are done very bad breaks should be done 1st come 1st serve, but not in this place a person comes in at 10 gets a break at 12 leaves at 4, another person comes in at 8 gets a break at 2 leaves at 4. Get use to fights with supervsiors about your shift, after being here 5 years i am glad i left the company.

New Leadership Is Awful

Pros

I loved working here and still enjoy being around me team, but the new CEO and his direction is causing the best of the best in the company to leave in droves. I am burned out and no one seems to care or hear anymore.

Cons

Since the layoffs in November, I (and most of my coworkers) have had to take on the additional work with no pay raises at all. Why lay off people then? The company is headed in a bad direction, and company culture is on the decline. Because the corporate office is smaller, I’ve interacted directly with the new CEO and all my conversations have just been bizarre and one-sided. My role has also changed because of the new strategy and the work I do is countless menial tasks now. I had the coolest projects before, and that’s why I came to six flags in the first place. Another note- The CEO likes to intimidate and abruptly fire people who speak up or oppose him even slightly.
