When our founders started SkinCure Oncology, they vowed to maintain a family-oriented atmosphere no matter how large or successful the organization grew. So, it saddens us to see any one of our employees (current or former) so dissatisfied that they post such a negative and inaccurate review.
SkinCure Oncology provides dermatology practices with the ability to offer their skin cancer patients Image Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IG-SRT), a less invasive treatment option and alternative to surgery. The technology used is the Sensus Healthcare SRT100 Vision, which is FDA cleared for the treatment of nonmelanoma skin cancer and keloids. The latest clinical study shows a 99.3% cure rate. On behalf of our practice partners, we survey patients upon completion of their treatment, and more than 99% of patients responding say that they were happy with the result and would recommend the treatment to others. We at SkinCure Oncology are proud of these results.
Employee satisfaction is also important to us. Several months ago, we completed our first ever Employee Satisfaction and Loyalty survey. 207 employees, more than 75% of our team, completed the survey. 60% of respondents said that over the past year the company changed for the better and another 38% said it stayed the same. In a year dominated by COVID, we’re proud of that response. Our overall employee net promoter score was 53, which falls short of world-class status, but is still considered a great result. To be sure, our employees told us that some things could be better, particularly in the areas of personal growth, reward, and recognition. We formed teams to address these areas and are actively making changes because we wish to be known as a truly great place to work.
Clearly, we have a disgruntled former employee wishing to disparage our company. While we will not comment on their allegations here, we will set the facts straight. As part of our contractual relationship with dermatology practices, we do support their verification of benefits and provide claims integrity support, but we do no medical billing.
We would like to point out the following to the former employee posing these defamatory and misguided comments:
1. SkinCure Oncology maintains a compliance hotline. Every employee has the opportunity to call the hotline to express concerns. To date, we have received no calls related to compliance issues.
2. We have a suggestion box. Employees are encouraged to share their thoughts and recommendations. To date, we’ve received no suggestions related to any compliance issue.
3. We have a truly open-door policy and it’s rare to ever see a senior member of the team be inaccessible to one and all.
4. SkinCure Oncology follows current guidelines on HIPAA and works to ensure compliance by conducting annual mandatory training sessions on Fraud, Waste and Abuse and HIPAA compliance. Every employee takes both courses and is tested to ensure proficiency. Additional training session we conduct include:
