Pros

Autonomy working at clinic with derm

Cons

Loss of Linear Accelerator experience Not allowed Full time hours consistently Extreme pressure to push patients into getting radiation to increase numbers Forced to do marketing Management!!! Management acts super helpful and friendly initially and then is too busy to listen unless they are telling you your numbers are too low Management loves patting themselves on the back Only promote people part of the inner circle of friends of management Supervisor positions not always posted People promoted based on friendships with management not on seniority or accomplishments

Pros

There are no pros when it comes to their choice of candidates for promotion

Cons

People employed for the lifespan of the company who very knowledgeable and helpful making them perfect candidates for a leadership position are often overlooked and the company promotes a new employee who hasn’t even been with the company for a year. Ridiculous!

SkinCure Oncology Response

The leadership team at SkinCure Oncology does recognize and acknowledge “hard workers that bend over backward for the company.” We do not, however, promote individuals into managerial positions based solely on hard work and loyalty. You and everyone else on the team deserve better. We promote into management positions those individuals we believe have the experience and talent to manage and lead others. Sometimes those promoted have longer tenure, but sometimes they’re newer to the organization. Sometimes we’re actively working to ensure diversity across the management team. Sometimes our decisions are based in part on geography or willingness to relocate. Truth be told, a lot of variables factor into promotion-related decisions. The good news is that SkinCure Oncology continues to grow dramatically, and with that growth comes additional opportunities to move into a management position. If you applied for a management position and were not selected, please schedule time with someone in HR so that we can help you to develop into a stronger candidate when new management positions are announced.
