Great place to work, nice people and lots of challenges included
Pros
Skype is a great product and it is exciting to be able to shape a product that millions of people all over the world use every day to stay in touch and communicate. It is a challenge to have such wide variety of users, both in terms of their communication needs and their cultural background. The working environment is relaxed and informal and it's possible to work remotely if it's necessary. Colleagues are smart and nice and it's fun to work with people from many different countries. The office has a really nice cafeteria / chill-out area with a kitchen and comfy sofas.
Cons
As the company is still young and growing fast at the same time, the processes in place are not sometimes not ideal and it can be frustrating when things keep changing throughout a project. But at the same time that's a challenge as there is still room to improve how we work.
