      Good culture but it's fading.

      Pros

      A lot of smart and dedicated people to work with. Plenty of technical challenges. Room for growth. Smarsh can be a fun place to work. Lots of good parties.

      Cons

      A recent change in management has alienated many of the earlier employees. They appear to be prepping the company to sell, and this has happened to some degree. Pay raises are practically nil for a small start-up.

      Pros

      Very entrepreneurial organization, outstanding culture and many opportunities to grow. They provide you all the tools to succeed, you have to use them though!

      Cons

      People used to rigid environments, lots of processes and protocols, micromanagement and heavy office politics typically aren't the best fit

      Pros

      Downtown Portland office location, good benefits, occasional office happy hours or events.

      Cons

      Dry, lifeless office environment; Unrealistic quotas and high pressure; Very low base salaries, especially for the industry, and a demotivating commission structure; Immature sales managers that understand directing and calculating, but not managing or motivating; Insufficient training accompanied by high expectations.
