Developers juggle 8–10 projects at a time, which wasn’t the case before. - Yearly reviews have been outright disastrous. - Even a single project escalation can land you in PIP or lead to contract termination, so there isn’t peace of mind despite working 12+ hours a day. - The work involves more client interaction than working on the codebase. - Higher management has a peculiar obsession with working from the office, even for night shift employees, which doesn’t make sense since the company was performing well under the previous work-from-home policy.
