- pay is AWFUL - it feels like the company doesn't care about you for anything else other than how much money you can make them - the constant "push product" speech when clientele doesn't want these products. It's a salon inside of Walmart, lower the expectations a bit - bringing in people to teach skills but the salon is still open so you don't even get to learn anything because you're taking clients during the class. - being punished for lack of clients, lack of sold products, not tacking on extra services when it's out of your control - Our team was told to "bag groceries" for customers inside Walmart in order to try and gain more clients even though this business only pays minimum wage and bagging groceries inside of a store I don't work at isn't my job. - we had to work every weekend, no one got weekends off ever.

Hourly pay is low (varies by location and if it's franchised). I'm currently at $9/hr and unless you hit commission, you don't make much. I have been here for over a year and haven't hit commission yet. I was promised they would work with me and guide me onto the right path to hitting commission. Come to find out the old manager rarely hit commission.
