Pays pretty well, benefits are decent. Cool industry.

Cons

The management at the company is quite bad. Nobody knows how to control the work to the engineering team. Management is pressured into making decisions that are bad for the company by the parent company. Too many people in charge, yet nobody takes ownership of projects, nobody knows what's going on. "unlimited" vacation policy leads to a lot of passive aggressive politics and stress. Work/life balance is poor / entirely sacrificed by arbitrary deadlines. Few developer standards. Project architecture is a complete mess.

Pros

A great place to work. Some of the smartest people I've had the chance to work with solving some really interesting problems. Lots of opportunity for growth as the company grows quickly.

Cons

The company is growing extremely fast. While this is exciting, it can be a challenge getting everyone up to speed and feeling like part of the culture. Communication and process have also been challenging as we go through some of the typical growing pains of being a former startup and hiring quickly.
