A wonderful company to work for! I have been at SmartThings in the Minneapolis office now since Sept. 2014 and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The company provides a great culture for creative individuals who have a passion for the next phase in IoT. They really encourage growth and promote from within which is so great to see as we are a growing team of amazing people! Highly recommend SmartThings to any one as a great place to work!

Cons

The only con I can see in the Minneapolis space would be parking is a little difficult, I LOVE being in the heart of NE but parking any where can be a little walk (tho it is exercise which I should NOT complain about)

The website's original function and idea is great.

Cons

Very unprofessional.. Lacks direction.. Total chaos! Poor management and acquisition pains have drastically hurt the company on many levels. Copious amounts of meetings and intrusive process drain employees time and energy away.

SmartThings gave a great deal of creative freedom in approaching projects. With a really talented team and an exciting product, I really recommend the company.

Cons

There are a lot of challenging projects going on at all times. Often that means quick timelines and a rush to meet deadlines.
