Heed the warnings about Snider Fleet

Pros

Really not much to share. It was a job. Wish I could give zero stars and no pros.

Cons

Company is resistant to any and all change, even if it would increase productivity and bring the company into the 21st century. All male executive team, absolutely no women leaders from a corporate standpoint. Extremely conservative views, corporate chaplain instead of an EAP program (what? really?), three month probationary period before your benefits or retirement plan begin. Company is very secretive, employees are catty and distrustful, absolutely no flexibility in work culture.

I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time at Snider Fleet Solutions. It sounds like your employment was for a short period of time, as we have a lot of new technology, methods, and processes that separate us from other competitors and like companies in our industry, of which you may not have seen. Our corporate office has many female department leaders, so it sounds like you many not have gotten the opportunity to meet many of those wonderful people. We have a Corporate Chaplin program and an EAP program, both of which were instrumental in assisting employees during the summer of 2017 with the impact of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. While we value feedback through forums like this, we also have the responsibility to correct inaccurate statements. Thank you for sharing your concerns and advice.

Pros

This is the good ol boy system, where its who likes you will denote how well your doing. The management is alful. I have worked on equipment for 20 years and have never seen such an abuse of customers.

Cons

Insurance is not good, and always going up. This company values nothing but cash flow. I was top earning mechanic at charlotte facility for over a year and you cant win with this company, if they promise you anything you can bet they wont do it!

Branch manager is great.

Cons

Childish behavior by the regional manager and sales coordinator. Good ole boy mentality, where change (even when it makes a vast improvement on productivity) is not accepted. There is no care or consideration to employees. You are talked down to, belittled, ignored, talked about, etc. No training.
